PROJETO AGANJU

Aganju
For over two decades, Andrea Fiamenghi has documented the Ilê Axé Opô Aganju terreiro in Bahia. With more than 11,000 images, her work captures the life, rituals, and traditions of Candomblé. Inspired by masters like Pierre Verger and Mário Cravo Neto, Andrea builds a visual archive where photography becomes a living memory of Afro-Brazilian religion.
